Bench Seat Removal

Can anyone tell me how to take the bench seat out of my truck and what tools I will need? My truck is an 82 GMC Sierra.

Its a bolt under each corner of the seat for a total of 4. A socket and wrench is all youd need.

I took off the passenger door and pulled it out that way. You might want to make some kind of markings on the door hinges to make realingement easier.

i have had mine out a few times, never had to take the door off. a bolt on each corner, dont forget to push teh belts tthrough

Coryd is right. Door removal isnt nessacary. I just do it because im old and beat up and its easier on my back.

You pulled the door off? I didn't have to do that on my 85.

You have to push the seatbelts through the holes in the seat before it comes out.
