I used mirrors off a 78 Camaro. Used the GM mounting method shown above. No issues after ~15 years. Bought the pair for around $25 from a salvage yard.

I just got some in from lmc today. I was wondering how to cover up the holes or do the holes that the old mirrors were on will cover up with the mounting hardware

Anybody got an extra mirror glass (right side) lying around I could buy? My OEM housing is fine, but the mirror broke. If I had replacement glass I could glue it in there.
