Re: Kingpin replacement in Austin, TX?
I had never done kingpins before but did my own on my 57, 3100. If your going to do it yourself, make sure you have a big ass vice and a large hammer! I broke my **** vice trying to drive my old pins out.

Re: Kingpin replacement in Austin, TX?
thanks all,
I have the wheel apart and all day I have been trying to get the king pin out. Hammer with drift, heat, penetrating oil, and I have moved it 1/16". I gus I will put it back together and have it done. I hate being stopped. |
