Air Compressor

Picked this up for $50.
Needs a little TLC but runs fine.
"Made in the U.S.A."
I've been wanting a larger one for years and got lucky with this find.

Re: Air Compressor

you'll wonder how you ever got along without it
9.5 cfm @ 100 psi is nice, i think mine is rated 10 cfm @ 80 psi
it probably cuts down to 5 cfm @ 100 psi
yours will pump up a lot quicker

Re: Air Compressor

That is sweet, I think it is a predecessor to this one or the rated below this one http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/SPE...E99?Pid=search

At any rate it was sold new at Grainger and you still should be able to order parts from Grainger.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

I was looking on their site for it.
I think it's an older model but will work just great in my garage.

Re: Air Compressor

Great find Kim
Whats good is you can buy relacement parts real easy. The compressor I bought the PO said it keep popping the house breaker, if by chance it blows a breaker check the copper tube that goes from pump to tank there is a valve at tank. It is easy to cahnge, this one way valve sometimes stick lube with WD40 or replace it is cheap enough. No more problems with mine after I did that.

It is an older model but you shouldn't have a problem getting parts for it when you need them. I think you lucked out big time on that one.

If you to to the "local" air compressor shop they won't laugh at you when you ask for parts for it or want to have it worked on if needed.
