Vent window ????
Is the vent window in a 1987 chev truck the same as a 1980 chev truck ? Thanks, buddy

The window is the same size. One could have 3 screws the other could have 2 screws at the top of the door. It does matter about year it depends on the plant they was built in. I have 2 sets of vent windows that came out of a 86 and 87. The 86 has 3 screws and the 87 two holes. As long as they have the same amount of holes they should fit.

The assemblies are the same size and will interchange. Where the difference is in the glass, the 87 glass is smaller with a different seal design. While the 80 glass is bigger and seal design is different.

The glass is the same in 81-87 but if you swap out the hole assembly make sure they have the same amount of screws. I'm not sure if they will inter change.
