Re: how many c20 longhorns were built in 1970

My only thing with the longhorns sence i have a 1968 I'm converting mine to 1/2 ton the market is better for 1/2 ton trucks then it is for any thing over a 1/2 ton Most or not all of the people buy these trucks do convert them over to 1/2 ton.Me here in calif gas and lic is way to high my 1965 3/4 ton truck cost me 106.00 per year to lic and cost me 92.00 for a 1/2 ton Plus with are gas being at 4.00 Thats a no brainier to do a convert to 1/2 ton.

today's 1/2 ton trucks are being used like the 3/4 or 1 ton trucks Here in calif its all about gas mileage Not like it was 10 to 15 years ago when we did not care if we drove around here in calif with a 1 ton with a 4.56 gear or a 4.11 gear But now we want the 3.77 gear or lower with a over drive.

Yes like long horn man talked about here in CA and in AZ these trucks are going for 1000 to 3500 My 11 trucks just sit do to low income But there mine
