Typically the upper dash is painted a flattened shade of the interior/ So a flat black on the forward upper dash would be correct. Generally the upper dash is painted back to slots under the pad.

To clarify do you mean the actual metal warranty Protect-O-Plate or the SPID label on the glovebox door listing the installed options?

SPIDs I am happy to help people recover or breakdown.

Plates are a case by case thing.

Did you find a build sheet? Generally they are found only in "Z" Fremont,CA built trucks.
