Re: tint your windows or let em see whos drivin?

I prefer mine tinted. In Oklahoma the legal limit is 25%. In the last 6 months or so in our area cops have been cracking down on people running the 5%. Seems most get away with 15% (most cops have theirs tinted.)

Definitely tinted. More than anything, tinted windows help save the interiors from getting ruined by our high and dry climate. Helps keep the vehicle interior temps cooler too.....plus it just looks cool

Re: tint your windows or let em see whos drivin?

My dad has owned a tint and audio shop for 25 years, so every vehicle we ever get the first thing that gets done is window tint.

So i couldn't ever imagine driving without tint, so definitely tinted for me.

Tint. No greenhouse for me. I'm a 5% with a 35% fully tinted windshield kinda guy.

Re: tint your windows or let em see whos drivin?

Tint is illegal here in Iowa. Side glass and windshield must be 70% clear and most automotive glass is already in the 80% area, and nobody makes a 90% tint to take it up to the legal limit. Rear glass and rear side glass behind the door glass can be as black as you want. That said, I have 35% on the side doors and back glass. Wish it was 5%, but then I'd get the $70 ticket.

IMO all look better with tint. Too many benefits to pass up. Heat, thieves, looks, privacy.

Re: tint your windows or let em see whos drivin?

I'd go for tint. Here you can't go darker than 35% so it doesn't matter. People will be able to see you anyway. But I've got bad eyes so I kinda need tint. Helps the a/c keep cooler too. It doesn't get as bad as TX but here in NC we see plenty of sun baked interiors from the summers. Our high humidity doesn't help either being near the ocean.

Yeah I couldn't live without tint. My eyes are too sensitive to bright light. Helps keep that to a minimum. I even have the tint brow thing way down past where its legal. No one seems to care lol
