Re: HELP! turn signal install...wtf..where do they go?

Protesting a little at work today, so have been digging all over the net looking for something for you. I should actually get off work on time today, so hopefully be able to take apart my son's column and get a look at it. I didn't find anything at all that even looked similar to what you have. Are you positive it is a stock column? Maybe post a pic or two of the column, and someone smarter than me could help.

Re: HELP! turn signal install...wtf..where do they go?

I just had my 62 GMC apart and it was completely different. Sorry no help.
Those parts look familier though...I also have a 63 Nova. Maybe they are the same?
If you are still stuck tomorrow I can look at the library here. They have a good reference section.

Boxer957, I took apart my sons steering wheel last night, and it does not have those parts in it. I took pics, but didn't end up with time to get them on here. It has this in the column.

I really appreciate your time and effort trying to figure this out. At this point I'm just going to let it go the way it is. When I get it running if something doesn't work I'll worry about it then. I just figured someone might see it and know exactly what it was when they saw it. Once again thanks so much for taking the time to try and figure it out.

Do you have any pics of the column itself? It may have been swapped out at some point in the past, and we are barking up the wrong tree. LOL

And no problem on trying to help, that is what this forum is for!

It was a one owner truck, I've already replace the shaft bearings and turn signal cam. everything fit just fine. I know it's the original column....just don't know where that little plastic piece came from....
