Looks like the classes changed over the years? So I'd have to just pick a year and go with it. I found this over on HAMB, not sure what year though...
So looking online I'm seeing weights for our trucks in the 3200-3500 range, I'll go 3500 since its a big block...that puts my truck in B/G. If I dropped my weight to 3200, it would go into A/G..

There shall be 5 classes in this division classified according to the total car weight divided by total cubic inches engine displacement. back when sunoco had custom blending pumps, dial your octane pumps that pumped 102 octane fuel

Friend---I just quit trying to get a 500 in cad in my 56---when I got it where I wanted it I would have had to gouge into the firewall 8-9 inches----anymore forward and then the a frames hit the block header exhaust and the oil filter is always a problem--check the caddy forums and they will all tell you DONT run a remote oil filter as they just dont seem to work--- MINE has a nova sub on it---maybe its easier with stock BUT----Do lots of measuring and test fitting---Good luck
