Re: Building Eileen

I have still been working on it bit by bit. Got all of the bag and other parts I need stripped from the parts truck. Got to start getting it on the good frame. I actually passed the rest cab work off to a buddy of mine who does that for a living so that I can put my time to the mechanical stuff. He is doing it for me for a great price. Also going to fix the rust issues on the bottom of my doors also. Ohh and look what got delivered yesterday!!!!

Re: Building Eileen

The frame is basically back together. Just got to plumb the air line the rest of the way and have a couple of issues to figure out on the rear. My cpp cnotch is in the way of where my classic industries adjustable panhard bar mount is supposed to go on the frame. Do you guys think it would be ok to move the mount for the panhard bar back a couple of inches? or will it put to much of an angle on it? Also I have a cpp tubular shock mount on the rear and im not exactly sure how the rear shocks should mount up. This truck was originally a leaf spring and I converted to trailing arm to bag it and I dont see any shock mounts on the trailing arm style rear for shocks like there were on the the leaf spring rear. Where should they mount? and also the cpp tubular shock mount seems like I need another bracket at the top for the shocks to mount to. Anyone have any experience with any of these issues? Any input is appreciated!
