for those ricer cars.

pancaked= cutting the hood crown and rewelding it at a lower profile
Shaved= trimming body appendages to give a smoother look (usually drip rails and door handles
Smoothed= cutting or covering body parts to give a smoother aperance (cowl vent, tailgate ect)

channel ---- To channel a car the body is lowered over the frame by removing the floor and refastening it higher inside the body, causing the body to rest closer to the ground without altering the suspension.
