80 s Monte Carlo center counsel in a square?
Ive got a 73 with a t56 and bucket seats the shifter sits too far back for a factory counsol to.fit. but it feels good.so im not moving it.. I was thinking about trying a monte carlo center counsol in it and trying to transition it smoothly into the bottom of tge dash near the ash tray and maybe mount a radio in it under the dash. Has anyone done this what are your honest thoughts on how it'd look?

Re: 80 s Monte Carlo center counsel in a square?
for a more appropriately sized console and being squarish in design, I think a GP console 78-86 would fit nicely. The body of those consoles are wider and would look more at home in the larger cabin of a square imo. If you look for an 81-up console, the woodgrain pattern on the bezels would be a close match to your 73 woodgrain as well.

i'd think it would be a bit thin.

The Camaro console works nicely in there, but you really need to ditch the column shifter

Hah, right after I took the pic that shifter came off. Took a few days to get used to get used to the floor shift though, was always trying to grab a shifter that wasn't there anymore |
