I had the same problem, gaps that had to be sealed up with RTV. Come to find out I installed the one piece design where my frame is the two piece design. It was the only choice listed on their website at the time. I think they just recently updated the site to list both styles.

I am sure a lot of people have got the wrong ones in 12 years of selling them.

I think they will exchange for the correct one, just be sure to have your original invoice/receipt and spend 1/2 day pulling out the old and putting in the new.
