TPI for blazer. Which sending unit/fuel pump?

From what I have read, the E8428 is the improved version of the E2000. Those had a tendency to overheat in certain situations, from what I read (google search...). Did you keep the 1/4 " return on your sending unit, Rich? How did you extend it?
