Re: lowered 88 to 98 P/U with step side pics?
Glad to see others figured out how to de-ugly the rear of these trucks. Am doing a 90 K1500 Silverado for a good friend, shaved the rear steps, stake pockets, installed a Bed wood Hickory retroliner, tape lighting in the bed, narrowed roll pan, 383 1st Fuel injection stroker w/polished serpentine drive (not the ugly factory thing) 5 spd trans w/ short throw Hurst shifter,96 Tahoe leather buckets and console, Larger front and rear brakes, Dakota Digital VHX dash, it's gonna be *****in', will try to post some pix soon.

By any chance do you know or can guesstimate what size tires were used on those Coys? I want 20's but don't want a thin sidewall. |

So, the short answer is no, not all conversion trucks came with drop shackles. |

Re: lowered 88 to 98 P/U with step side pics?
Can't blame you, as I like a beefier sidewall as well. I have no idea what size those were on the Coys, but I'll guess maybe 45 or 50 series. My Tahoe currently has 55's, which look to have a taller sidewall than those.
