Does anyone know where I could find some wiper motor pigtail connectors for my 84? I forgot to cut them off the old harness before I chucked it last year.. I've done all the looking through local parts stores ect.. didn't know if anyone knew a website that might have them??

Re: wiper motor connectors

These trucks use Delphi Packard 56 series female terminals and shells on the wiper motor. Most of the GM cars and trucks in that era use these on the wiper motors. Many of these Delphi Packard 56 shells are obsolete but new 12033824 & 2962572 W-Crimp female terminals are available.

Connector part #s from the 1983 & 1985 wiring diagrams ( I don't have the 84 diagrams )

83 & 85
8917546 2 position conn park switch
8917544 3 position conn wiper motor

1983 washer
12004622 2 position conn wash solenoid

1985 washer
297378 2 position conn washer motor

That's true for a lot of GM wiper motors (including 77 & older trucks). But I think the permanent magnet wiper motors on 78-up trucks use Pack-Con II (instead of 56 series) connectors. I'd have to go look at one to be sure though.

Could be.
I found one of the four Delphi connector shell part #s I listed. It's a Packard 56 series.
That doesn't mean the rest are not Pak-Con IIs... The terminals are definitely available. I just got finished installing 2 brand new Pak-Con ganged ATC fuse blocks on my Polaris ATV.

That must be the #297378 connector for the 85-up washer pump motor that's 56 series.

These connectors (on an 84) all look like Pack-Con II to me:

I see you're in Maine too ... if you're not too far away from Sherman, there is a small junkyard here in town that still has a couple of these trucks.

Yes 297378 is still available too.
Look like Pak-Con II to Me too GM used a lot of those along with the Packard 56 & 59 series.
I never looked closely at my 85 wiper motor just the washer pump. When I searched the 83 motor connector part #s they didn't come up at all so I was unable to verify what they were.

According to the wiring diagrams the washer pump changes in 85 to a Packard 56 series.

73-77 are definitely Packard 56 connectors. The shells are still available.

The two motor connectors are the same part # from 78-91 and the washer from 78-84. Gives you a pretty decent selection of the more common chassis to yank em from...
