Re: Christine 64' long bed build.
I always recommend 3 towns, but Texas is a big State so you should be fine with 2. A different Zip code is also preferred.

Re: Christine 64' long bed build.
Update! im sorry i havent updated the thread in a while and alot has happened. First on the way back from my girlfriends birthday dinner i took a curve and the driver rear wheel completley came off causing the loss of control and ending up in the ditch next to the road on a dark Very stormy night (FUN!)
Next i found a set of american Slots in 6 lug off a 66 short bed i bought for 250$ with great tires! Sold the tailgate for gas money and parts , BUT in saying that it was caked with bondo and i got 125$ for it. Let the build proceed!

Re: Christine 64' long bed build.
Picking up the slots Friday for 125$!!! 15x8's !!! I had to change the rear tires yesterday after a Miss hap in the storm. The road was flooded and when i hit the brakes the truck slid across 4 lanes sideways went up and over the curbed median and came to rest in the opposite side of the highway in the process i blew out the passenger side rear tire.
Last night i cleaned the old girl out and Freshened her up a tad. then took a cruise down to my old neighborhood over on the south side of Fort worth. Took a pic of her outside of my old elementary school , drove by a few of my childhood homes some bulldozed others Trashed and abandoned. My folks say the area is bad and its now the "Hood" and the " Ghetto" but i still find it as Classic as ever haha.

Re: Christine 64' long bed build.
Hey guys!
Update on me and Christine! I scored a job at Texas Rail Frames building sand rails, Dune buggys and vw's! Its a GREAT Gig haha im learning and getting into the whole vw community lol. I bought a 1967 vw baja bug for 250$ with a title. plan is to go all out on it or as much as my wallet allows then pending my living situation flip it or keep it still undecided. As far as Christine not much has changed put new plugs and wires in her. Im ordering a set of 15x10 ,15x7 corvette style 6 lug rallys and a 4/6 drop for her. Now for some random phone photos over the last couple weeks lol My first assiment the day i started working, Pull the shop truck engine and install a new fan shroud, oil cooler, header and hater pipe then re-install
