Re: How to do burnout with sm465 transmission?

Ahhh the old sm465 and youth combined..... I remember in high school when I got my 78. So happy I had a 385, 4 speed manaul and 3.73 gears. Figured it would do an insanely awesome burnout with 1st being so low. So, into 1st it went. Floored the throttle went, and I dumped the clutch. Truck didn't really move, no tires spun, but I zinged that sucker to 9000rpm faster then sh*t! Motor lasted another 5,000 or so miles before blowing up. Don't be me.
