Maybe if you relaxed a little and let the kid try to catch up with what he needs to do everything will work out for all those concerned.

Not worth being aggravated, wait a couple weeks and see where things are and then maybe call again.

that's very inconsiderate of him not calling back. i no there's a family emergency, and i do sympathize with him , but you cant even let a friend call some of the people who paid a while back? or take 1 hour out of your time and at least post a message saying all will get theres.

Yes. Look at LMC Truck: they have a similar harness [for much cheaper]. I just installed a set on my '66, were easy to install, & they work quite well.

When comparing these headlight relay harnesses from different vendors, be sure you are comparing apples to apples. They may not all be the same quality or include the same components. Myself, I would rather pay a little more for something made in the USA. Particularily if I am supporting a small business such as myself.

I could not agree more.

There is a reason the price is lower and I promise it isn't all in the labor.

If you want crap, go buy your stuff at the Big Marts, if you want well made, high quality, then spend your money with a small business.

I agree with Captn however...

I have the one I posted and 1. have had zero problems with it at all ( 3 + years) and 2. it may not be 6 gauge wire but it serves the purpose perfectly.

Re: 1960-1966 Chevy Heavy Duty Headlight Harness's

Agreed on staying away from cheap pricing. Although I haven't bought in bulk or at a discout/wholesale price, just the ceramic connectors, relays, and relay socket kits cost me about $45 for a single harness- not counting the cost of the wire.

I, for one wish to offer my congratulations to rideblue for his patience and positive attitude. Too often we tend to jump off the deep end, and waaaaay too early.

So happy it worked out with such a positive ending comment from you, rideblue. And, of course with such a lengthy, apologetic explanation from Coachworks.

Many lessons have been taught on the value of communication; and obviously many lessons learned from the value of it!
