kind of a pain if there is anything in the bed. I'd rather fab up a side fill and do the Longhornman side marker conversion

I just bought this tank as well, I think you can save about $50.00 buying the flush mounted filler neck from your local marine retailer/boat shop. ask for a Moeller filler neck:
