Re: Crown Vic front end on a 67-72?

The crown vic spring are too stiff. I just got new spring rate to sit the front down another 2 inches. I think this is a first for a C-10 so let me know what you think

I think I'd love to see some install pics.
Looks great!

Cool Re: Crown Vic front end on a 67-72?

Well as said before. Enough money and time anything is possible. Good job. Would like to see more pictures of the install and some details on it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Crown Vic front end on a 67-72?

If you are just looking to run the 5x4.75 bolt pattern you could run a 91 Camaro 1LE rotor and use the trucks bearings and brake. it is supposed to give you the smaller bolt pattern with just changing your rotors.

this is of course for the 81-87 front ends. but would be an easier option to swap in a newer crossmember and just run different rotors.
