Re: Project "Black Cherry" 68 c/10

Not sure if I will use Nelson for a tune, I have a good rapport with PatrickG in Victoria for tuning my LS vehicles.

But I'm curious as to how much Nelson charges for their harnesses. I called and left like two messages, still waiting on a response.

Question Re: Project "Black Cherry" 68 c/10

Def not going with a Nelson harness, they wanted $1,100 for a simple harness with the fan relays and extending the harness for the computer to fit under the dash.

I'm having a hard time finding the thread where people put what all is done to their build and attach a PDF or Word Doc of the list of all the parts they have installed. Would anyone be able to post a link to that thread please?

You may want to take a look at Howell Engine Development and talk to Troy, there base harness has a 4ft tail, and longer for additional cost.

PSI makes a good harness easy to use.

That's what I heard from a fellow co-worker who is here on the boards as well. I believe their base harness is about $550, I'll need to have them add for the fan relays and the 90mm tb that I changed out.

Re: Project "Black Cherry" 68 c/10

I was going to just buy the Dirty Dingo billet adapter plates for the ls2 style water pump to be used with the truck accessories, but it will just be cheaper for me to buy the 6.2 newer style pump.

The 2010+ Camaro water pump works great (no adapters required - its the same offset), or like stated, just flip the TB 180.

Never heard of that company, but Ill look into it, since I already have a stock harness.

As for flipping the TB, is that possible? Never seen anyone run it like that.

Re: Project "Black Cherry" 68 c/10

Btw, I already ordered all my black -6an fuel fittings, nylon braided fuel hose, vette regulator/filter, and decided to buy a TBSS intake with the rails and injectors since it already has the opening for a 90MM tb and also is meant for a 4bolt design tb as well as it having a return-less style fuel rail on it. I'm gonna ditch my stock 5.3 intake and that aluminum tb adapter plate. Just in case anyone might be interested in it.

Re: Project "Black Cherry" 68 c/10

I'm clearly too dumb to figure out how to edit a post, or this message board doesn't allow it, anyway, pics...

Also replaced some bolts with some other bolts
