Question Removing 350 Engine

Have everything disconnected including motor mount bolts. Ready to hoist. The heads are also removed. What points are the best points to place bolts for the chain hoist to lift engine from compartment?

Re: Removing 350 Engine

I like to get 2 short sections of chain, and use the accessory mounting holes and make an X over the valley. Then hook the hoist to the X.

There aren't very many places to attach a chain with the heads already off the block.

There are some on each side by the timing cover, but there aren't any in the rear
