You're correct. Unfortunately I bought mine prior to that option. I called the other day to order and was told about 3 months. I'm too impatient for that. I'm gonna try the set I have. I'm also keeping my eye out for a set of 454 SS wheels.

Have u considered a 22 rear and 20 on the front?? I saw one with that set up and it look pretty sweet.

Not a swap... It's an original GMC Yukon. I just installed the the 30 bar billet grill. And I have the billet pieces for the signal lamps. But have no idea how to install them.

My bad, I thought it was a Yukon grille on a Tahoe. That's what I'm planning to do. I love that 30 bar look!

I have thought about that yes, my concern with that was I wasn't planning on going crazy low. All the ones I've seen set about 2 inches lower than I want.

Re: Need Help/Info On Lowering 97 2DR 2WD Tahoe

Dang Matt, didn't realize you had a 2 door Tahoe as well. It was your pictures of the blue truck on eagle 225s that convinced me to get those wheels on mine a few years ago.

I ended up trading my truck for my bagged 2 door 2wd Tahoe last spring because I wanted something with more seats and seat belts.

I wish I could be more help on wheels/tires and drop. Mine are Boss 304s 20/22 that were on it when I bought it. My fronts are 255/45 and are going to be replaced with some 245/40 when they wear out a bit. Mine rub the shocks when I turn really tight like in the driveway. I wish someone made 20x7 wheels, to tell the truth. I'd love to get a tucked in look.

Tahoe pic (I'm sure people are getting tired of seeing pics of mine by now):

Muthstryer and killthewabbit, both of y'all are my influence to get 225s for my square. Too bad I haven't finished it yet.

P.s. I can't wait to see your tahoe with AE 225 wheels. I hope they fit. U might need to roll your fenders.

I may have convinced myself to do a 6 lug conversion and run a set of 07+ factory 20s.

Your tahoe looks good man, I'll figure out what I want to run. It really depends on how low I want to go. I feel like if I go 20s I have to go really low and if I get 22s I can keep it a bit higher.

Thanks man. To me, the 20/22 combo actually looks pretty good on these with the appropriate sidewall. I never really liked 20/22s on anything else.

Tire sizes? Need more pics, ordering wheels Friday. As of now I'm going back to what I originally wanted. 22" Novas, but I want to see more pics of yours first
