The GM pan you reference is the GM "musclecar" pan kit. It will still hang below the crossmember. No bueno, IMO. The Holley pan is a really nice piece. I was impressed with it. It also comes with everything you need except for a gasket and windage tray, depending on application. I used a Caddy pan on mine, because the price was right (it was given to me, but I had to buy everything but the pan).
