Re: Show me your exhaust

I've been searching the forums and can't find anyone who has run the exhaust from the stock exhaust manifold to the rear of the front tire and route the pipe and muffler on the outside of the frame.
I have a 63 with PB Extreme dropmember up front with the Extreme 3 out back..yes it lays frame.
I just rebuilt the little 283 with 3 -2 barrels and now I'm looking at exhaust routing options.
It looks like you posted a pic of your truck a few years ago and described that you ran your exhaust on the outside of the frame.
By chance do you have any pics? I'd like to know if it's possible with a truck that lays the frame. I want to run 2" pipes so in my opinion it should work. Since my welder is out of service I can't do anything except research

Any pics, or advice would be appreciated.
TIA..

Re: Show me your exhaust

In fact looking from this angle shows I could have went higher up in the arch closer to the shock.

After going to a few shops, and speaking to the pipe bender, they don't think it would work with the way the trucks suspension is. So I'm just going to have them run it under the truck.
Thanks to all who helped.
