To add, a Speedi sleeve comes with its own seal.

Per the post on silicone, make sure you get an oil resistant like the grey stuff.

I bought a chrome cover 20 years ago, not impressed with it, buy a quality one.

Oh, check your oil pan flange over with a straight edge and see if the bolts have been over tightened and distorted the sealing surface, may need to be straightened, this is whi i don't think gaskets with the sealant on them are always a great choice.
