The 4x4 Output shaft is quite a bit shorter than a 2wd Output shaft.

Another issue is the VSS Reluctor wheel is on the Output shaft on 2wd 4L60E.

IIRC, The GTO was the only car to use a Rubber joint & a 4L60E, They used a standard 2wd 4L60E & a Slip Yoke.
