Transmission AN fittings

For all you guys that want to run AN fitting for your trans and hook up to your cooler in your radiator. After a lot of searching I found the correct fitting from Russell.

There are fitting out there that you can use and remove the original inverted flair fitting from the trans and replace it with a -6. 1/4npt fittings "work" but there are straight cut 1/4 fitting that seal with a copper crush washer as well....
Can't seem to find the part number from summit at the moment.

Re: Transmission AN fittings

I've found the correct ones for the transmission, but not the radiator.

That's the fitting for the radiator. Works perfect.

Re: Transmission AN fittings

I'm curious why someone would go to a different fitting, given that the inverted flare fitting has worked so well for so many years?

So you can use an fittings, maybe he wants to run braided hose and not hard steel lines.
