265 75 16's fill the wheel well pretty well without lowering at all. On my C2500 GMC Sierra Grande I ran those along with a 1 1/2" rear shackle on the leafs for a mostly level wheel well filling look.
But I will say the same thing to you I do to everyone with a drum brake truck. DISC BRAKE CONVERSION IF YOU WANT TO USE AND DRIVE THE TRUCK! By far the best mod on my '70 as well as the '69 short step I have now. Then you can use a 2 1/2" spindle and ponder adding an even lower spring for whatever drop works with your wheel tire combo.
