CONGRATULATIONS !!! Nice truck. The price was not bad either.
I would not raise it. Take some time and drive it for awhile. Dont jump into any mods to soon. Make a list of things that you would like to do then prioritize them and attack them one at a time. As you approach each project on the list get advice from people here on the site. Ask people where to buy parts (you will save a lot of money that way). Its better to ask a bunch of questions before the project than to ask questions on how to fix something after things do not go to well (I speak from experience). Here are some things to consider to do soon unless you are sure that the previous owner has taken care of these things recently: - Change oil, oil filter, air filter, PCV, breather - Inspect brakes, replace parts as necessary - Inspect and repack bearings - Check spark plugs, check color, replace if necessary - Plug wires - Upgrade to HEI if it doesn't already have it - Check tranny & differential for leaks - Replace tranny and differential fluids - Flush & refill radiator - Check hoses & belts, replace if necessary - Check radiator cap and thermostat function Good Luck !!!
