Re: Parts you lost or rid of, and maybe shouldn't have
Iam glad to see this, I really wonder about myself some times. Thinking I may be a true horder. I throw nothing away!! Even if nearly junk, I save it for reference. I have sold a few parts but always agonize before and after!! It is fun to dig thru parts on the shelf and put them to use, or just look at them and dream of the day you can hang it on a deserving truck. Back to the point... Most regrettable part sold... 72 extreme bend hooks. Weeks after the sale I had a 72 k20 to hang them on, you just never know!!

Re: Parts you lost or rid of, and maybe shouldn't have
Meh, I have given away so many tilt columns over the years, whatever. Theres always another one that comes up. Its too bad the posts rarely seem to be about needing that said part and more about what $$ could have been fetched. I liked the truck hobby because it seemed people fixed them out of passion rather than monetary value. Guess everything must change over time.

Re: Parts you lost or rid of, and maybe shouldn't have
In 1977 I had a 427/435 HP tripower engine I spun a rod bearing on. It sat in dads garage for a year, my cousin wanted it so I let him have it for $75.00 ( which I never saw). 2 years later I asked my uncle if it was still laying around because my cousin never did anything with it and he never paid me. he said he took IT, with other scrap metal to the scrap yard. It only bothered me alittle till recently when I saw what the pieces alone go for, makes me sick to this day...
