pulled valve off...truck idles about 3k. but does not shut off or stall out....
now what do i do??

Mess with it any more?

If you pulled the egr and the engine didn't stall the ports going to the egr are probably plugged like one of the techs suggested. When I did my intake manny i cleaned mine and it was extremely dirty although not the source of my idle issues. It's hard to believe the amount of crap that was in there on mine and my truck has always been well maintained. If you clean it use the shop vac like he suggested as well, wouldn't be good if that crap goes back in.

how do i go about cleaning it? do i just pull the erg valve and put a vacuum there to try and suck out the junk?

still keep getting light on and off from day to day. does not really seem to effect the way the truck runs aside from a kinda low idle. and I'm sure my gas milage is down.
