TH350 vs TH400 Mounts
Do the TH350 and TH400 share the same transmission mount (rubber block at the crossmember)?
I'm replacing the transmission mount for my TH350, i have the mount bolted to the transmission, but I'm having a hard time getting the crossmember bolt holes to line up. Maybe I have the wrong mount?

Re: TH350 vs TH400 Mounts
I've seen that one a few times while googling this question. The mount I have only has two holes on the crossmember side instead of the three shown above (no hole in the middle). Maybe I just need to push the transmission until the holes line up... not an easy task when laying on my back underneath the truck!
If I still had the old transmission mount I could compare the two, but the old one literally disintegrated ![]()

Re: TH350 vs TH400 Mounts
They are the same. Don't worry about the 3rd hole for the TH350 and the TH400.
Put a 12" by 12" piece of study plywood (3/4" or so) and put it on your floor jack and then support the transmission by the pan. Let hydraulics do the work for you. Gary

Re: TH350 vs TH400 Mounts
Also loosen up your crossmember and get all the bolts started before you tighten anything up.....
You may want to 'open' up the holes on the cross mount a little, just because if the rubber is under stress when it is all tightened up it will just wear out again really fast....
