You've been kicking butt man! DROOLING over that trans. Suspension looks super too! When we gonna fire this thing up? Bed floor mods coming?

Re: Track70 Build!!
Are those Hedman 69010 headers? I'm just now fabbing up engine stands, trying to get it low and back with clam shell mounts. I've got the same trans too and am curious how your motor sits in the frame, pinion angle and shifter location.

Re: Track70 Build!!
Thanks! Appreciate it. Yea I've been having a blast..I'm not sure if my wallet would agree though Quote:
Yep they are headman headers..Motor sits nice in the stock mounts..plenty of clearance for shift linkage. Had to make a 1" spacer for trans mount to get pinion angle and motor angle correct..Will have more pictures of all this real soon!

Re: Track70 Build!!
I know it's been awhile since I've updated but if I'm here posting stuff then i would never get anything done lol! Anyways on to lots of progress.
Got the motor and trans set in and ready for all the goodies I started modifying my clutch setup..I bought the adjustable clutch rods from LMC..including the z-bar and everything to build it..What the don't tell you is that the rods just don't bolt right in..Had to do some major modifications This is the piece that goes on the pedal assembly..as you can see i had to bring it out over 3" This is my modified z-bar..had to cut both pieces off of it and move them..I also gusseted them since we all know the z-bar is a weak link in the clutch setup. Here it is all assembled...Smooth as butter Got my new one piece driveshaft back ready for some paint! Also got my front accessory drive kit from March..love the black powdercoat Welded my shock relocators in from porterbuilt in..Who needs bolts LOL! Cooling system DONE..Griffin Radiator, tig welded the shroud to the radiator and installed a 2500 cfm low profile flexa-light fan! Motor buttoned up and ready to go! After all that i started working on the bed..Cleaned it, paint, and mounted/wired everything. Started on the cab..Fixed rust spots, mounted shifter, coated everything and layed down the Dynamat!

Re: Track70 Build!!
Dang Zach, that's a lot of progress! The truck looks great. I didn't realize you were bagging it. I have a pin striped tank that would have looked great back there, . When do you think you will be driving it?
