Re: My 6.0 LQ9 install!!!!!

I just got rid of certain parts of the original harness...(dual point distributor, voltage regulator, parts of the alternator wire, different wires that I didn't need). The harness I had built was from pacific fab....It was awesome, just follow the directions, and plug and go....It was simple

Re: My 6.0 LQ9 install!!!!!

I am looking to do a gen 3/4 install and have found a great LQ9 out of an escalade ext. I Was wondering 1. what transmission you used and 2. what you did to hook up the transfer case. it looked like you had the original transfer case, but maybe i was wrong. good to hear pacific fab has the wiring harness too. Thanks in advance.

kickdown linkage?

Beautiful blazer and fantastic swap! Did Pac Fab give you a manual transmission program in your ECM since you are using a TH-400 instead of a 4L65E? Also, what did you do about the kickdown linkage (looks like you are running the DBW)?

Thanks for your time!

Beautiful K5 Greg,
I have some questions, what headers are you running and how is the clearance? What fuel tank are you running, are you running an in tank pump? Thanks.

I used the 3rd row out of a suburban that matched it......Thanks everyone for your compliments... I am sooo glad I went that direction on the install.
Nice build. Can you elaborate on the issues with swapping to a hydraulic clutched trans? What are the primary issue, why not install a T5?
