Thanks! I'm sure I'll have it around Sherwood at some point. I really wanted to make Cruisin Sherwood this year but that didn't happen.

Time for a little backwards travel through time to Friday. I started off at 8:30 with this list of things to get done throughout the day so I could make a cruise in that evening.


Things were getting crossed off one by one until I needed my buddy's help to get the hood on. He showed up a little after 11 and we knocked the hood out pretty quickly. I drilled through the hinges and hood so aligning them was super easy. It was so awesome seeing the hood on it finally




Next up were the bumpers. I got a little confused on the rear brackets but got them figured out. I also buffed each bumper before putting them on. They really turned out nice!




A little after 3:30 and I had the list all done! I was hoping to get done a little earlier but hey, I got it done and made it to the cruise in!


Mine and dad's trucks, they got quite a bit of attention!




I still have some things to get done, mount the steps, finish the tailgate and then tie up a few loose ends but I'm super excited to put some miles on it!

Nice job Scott, it's come a long way. I'd like to says it's almost done but you know how these projects work, they are never done!

Thanks man! I'm super proud of the whole truck. I love driving it and seeing the smiles on other drivers when they see it. Too much fun!

Last night I had my first issue with it, I flipped the belt for the power steering pump. I know that the pulley isn't lined up perfect so I'm going to see how I can fix that without pulling the pulley farther off the shaft. I'm also going to see if I can get a shorter belt that will allow me to get some better tension on it. I'm pretty sure it came off when I opened it up to see what kind of speeds I could hit. Not triple digits but not too far off either. It won't go on a road course with the 6 but it was fun stretching its legs a bit
