315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?

Ok I've been hunting the net for days and i haven't found anything, but would anyone know if I could squeeze a set of 315/35-20 on a 20x10 with a 5" off set on the front of a 72 c10 with cpp off set modular spindles?
it has a 3/5 drop and I have a nice 40 mile twisty canyon stretch of road at the end of my drive home and I will be running that same tires and wheels all the way around, because the truck see around 120-150 miles in total a day so I néed to be able to rotate them

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?

Static yes, I notched my cross member 3" and have 2 1/2" drop spindles. That's 5 1/2" with stock springs still. I have an unknow drop spring right now in there. So I'm guessing between 2-3" on the spring. And I am gonna cup the lca for another 1 1/2" to get my lca in spec. Going for a handling setup.

Mine isn't a daily. It's just a toy. But I see those ricers running around with plastic bumpers 1"-2" off the ground. So with some good eyes it could be done.

Domer, I live in Bonita and work in La Jolla. I did go through a few sets of wheel spacers though to place them where I needed them. There is one downside though, really not good at making u-turns anymore. I may be in the El Cajon area this weekend and might be able to meet up. Send me a PM.

Dragun, IMO it handles pretty well. It sure doesn't handle like a truck anymore. Sticks going around corners. The wheels are factory C6 Grandsport rear wheels. I used hubcentric wheel adapters to give me the correct back spacing I needed.

Tinydb84, The short answer is wheel adapters. However, with stock lower arms, you loose a lot of turning radius. I did run the setup with stock arms for a while by clearancing the back side of the control arm where the wheel makes contact, but you still don't get back enough for parking lot driving (Always took 2 shots to pull into a spot). I was able to get most of it back with a lower control arm change. It took the right lower control arm design though. I looked into Porterbuilt, Ride Tech, CPP, and Hotchkis. I ended up going with Hotchkis based on the shape of the backside tube compared to the other arms. One thing I haven't mentioned is I also did a brake swap. You can see the brake swap here.

Wow awesome setup, what thickness of spacers are you running in the front? I seen your old 18x9.5 front wheel setup you ran a 1.75" spacer l.

I'll need to double check, but I think it was 2.75"

Cool so 2.75 front and 2.50 rear and I found the grand sport wheel on jegs 303.99 is an awesome price but the price of the tires stings a little

I took a measurment on the front adapters and they are 2.5" thick. I do remember the tire price stinging depending on how long we wanted the tires to last. The current set I have on the truck are michelins and I think they ran around $1400 mounted and balanced. I did have Nitto Invos on previously and I remember them being around $900 I think.

I'm not sure. It should be better than stock control arms. I found a couple of pictures for comparison. When I made the descision, it appeared IMHO that the Hotchkis arms provided more room based on where the tube intersected the lower ball joint and the angle of the tube between the lower ball joint to the frame mount (when looking down at the control arm).

Hu that's good information from the looks of it and cost I'm thinking that porterbuilt arms are going to do the trick and hotchkis has I front shock relocator that I really like so hopefully in a few months I can start adding to this post and thank you very much raic65 all your info helped a ton

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?

245/50/20
Longer lug studs from flaps
20x9 et38 Helo Kick wheels
½" spacers all 4 ..clear axle ends in rear making et26

Just clears outside of stepside box
At Least 2" to to fender metal
Will change spacers for 1" spacers in the rear that have lug nut holes and more lug bolts for 6x5.5

But just picked up a set of 20x8 100 spoke (rusty and perfect) Player Wire Wheels with I believe et0 or so
With 245/60/20s I will be able to still lower it wherever I want

there are a couple tire size calculators on the interweb that will help you figure out what will fit

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?

Here is my setup, 305/30-20 on 20x10 on all 4 corners. The wheels have 50mm backspacing. I am running a 1.25" spacer on the front, but can shave that down to 1". Only because my wheels are designed for unit bearings and our hub sticks out to far.
