The spiders probably aren't seized. I don't think the True-Trac is buildable, from what I understand. There is a lot of pressure on the side gears from the wave spring plates, so it would be hard to turn unless totally worn out. Ill let you know on the 3:54 ring and pinion. I have to do some research and see if it will work for me because I tow as well. Any idea how the RPMS are on this with a th400 related to speed? I have a gear vendors overdrive I installed but it doesn't work. I have to send it in and get it rebuilt for $1100
So I was thinking of ditching it and installing these gears. I have a 454 big block now and may install my supercharged LS motor over the winter. The 4:11 gears in it now are 4k RPMS at 70 MPH
