Joined the square body club

I joined the square body club this week with the purchase of this 79 k10 . It's got a 350/th350 with full time 4x4. Not sure what gear ratio yet but I think it's prolly 3.73 or 4.10. I got it from Montana it has a little rust but still 10 times cleaner than anything in northeast Ohio unless you pay $8k. I wanna swap a 700r4 in it any adapters needed? Is it an east swap?

Welcome!! Happy to see fellow Ohioans on here. Nice find. And your right, it hard to find a decent truck around here, but you will have to pay dearly for it.

Nice truck. Same color as mine. That's what mine is supposed to look like before the rust took over. I would just burn the gas instead of changing transmissions.

Nice truck. If you have a 205 t-case there is an adaptor out there, i put one in a 82 with the right coupler . had to grind a little length off the 700r4 output shaft. It really made the truck driveable on the highway.
