I've been considering doing this in my 95. Only thing I worry about right now is I don't have somewhere indoors to keep the truck and like others have said I'm afraid it will trap moisture if I leave it outside. If I do it I won't be using a kit though. I will enlist my father in law to help me and we'll do it ourselves. Have thought about using strips out of an 70's stepside or similar and painting them satin black. Do a light colored wood with tons of polyurethane. I really think it could look super nice.
