Smoothie center cap issues

I need some help! I'm so disappointed with my new Wheel Vintique center caps. I love the style, but after buying five of them, I have only two that I believe "may" stay on the wheels beyond the first trip around the block. The retention rings are too flimsy and deform when trying to pop them onto the wheels. I bought them for my new Wheel Vintique Smoothie wheels. I am sending the caps back to Summit for exchange for a better fitting style, so I'm looking for recommendations for a nice looking center cap that actually fit these wheels and will stay in place.

Re: Smoothie center cap issues

You can wrap some electrical tape around the lip of the hub cap that will snug it up some . A bit rigged but it works.
Its a series 12 right ? Im sure you know but you know there is a trick to put them on right?
Get the lip under two of the nubs and whack on the cap to get it over the 3rd one.

Yes I contacted WV. They offered no solutions other than to return the bad caps and try some new ones. The guy also said they are currently looking for a new supplier for thei caps, so what does that tell you?

I have tried this method of snapping the caps onto the wheels, less the electrical tape, to no avail. So frustrating....
