thanks for the pics. I think i might just cut the bottom inch or so off my plate and mount it in that spot. I think that way, the state and tag will be visible. then I will see if I can mount some type of light next to it.

Where did you get that rubber edging material that is between the ends of the bumper and the bed?

Both of those shown are original to those trucks. I have not yet found an exact replacement source, but there are similar items available. I'll try and find the thread on here where some are shown.

FYI, Be carful cutting your plate, some states are REAL anal about that.....
