I just looked at my buddies '72 K20 with disc/drums and his looks just like your first picture.

I'm about to convert my '69 to disc/drum from drum/drum and was thinking the exact thing you were Redneck. All the masters I saw online were like your first pic too. And I remember the Disc/drum masters having a large and small reservoir. But I was working on a 78 Chevy and 74 Chevy in the past, so maybe that was the difference? So I'll go with the first style and call it good!!
