6l80 questions
Is there any difference between a 2013 and a 2015 6l80?
Found out my trans is a 2013, tuner says the pcm/motor is 2015 and won’t talk to the older trans, is this correct??

Re: 6l80 questions
Quite possible. The tuner should b able to do a segment change within the tune to make it work.

Re: 6l80 questions
I’m being told that it needs a flash to get the two systems to talk, idk, paid one guy to do it and he leaves to get a “GM” scanner and then calls me with, mine won’t work on your issue....I’m looking for that jerk now...

Re: 6l80 questions
The ECU and tcm need to have matching operating systems. The best way to do this is with gm tis reprogramming service. Hptuners can do a full tcm flash as well but you need the right operating systems. I can help if you haven't resolved the issue yet.
