I've thought about putting a 1/4 turn ball valve on the short rubber fuel line that resides under the cab. Shut the valve off when you leave the truck, it will only get said thief about a half mile down the road. Downside is you'd have to crawl under the truck to make it work, but I'm guessing it would be pretty fool-proof.

When I got my truck, the Neutral Safety Switch was misaligned. You needed to move the shifter past park to get the starter to turn. Unfortunately, that means that it does not work in neutral anymore.
With a cold engine, most people wouldn't know they need to set the choke, much less to crank it for 10 seconds to fill the bowl and pump the gas a couple times. Of course with no hood lock, steering lock, shifter lock, the biggest thing keeping people from stealing the truck is keeping the doors locked.
