Oh yeah......most of the place I worked at, you'd get thrown out if you did that. It's a good way to lose a finger or an arm.....or even worse. I've seen photos of guys that got wrapped around rotating machines, and IT AINT PRETTY.

There was a machine shop that we did service work at on regular basis that had a mill that killed a guy. They just called the machine, "killer"
