Re: 69 shortbed emergency brake cable routing
Rather than start a new thread , I'm adding a question . Can any one tell me what this part in the illustration is ? I have purchased every thing from the handle to the rear backing plates for my '67. Maybe I'm still missing something. Thanks.

Re: 69 shortbed emergency brake cable routing
So even after I ask for help I keep looking for the answer.... And low and behold I think the picture quality is just bad . This picture makes it clear , so it appears nothing is there.

Re: 69 shortbed emergency brake cable routing
Does anyone have a photo of how the cable is routed and sits under the hood of a 1970 C10 Shortbed?
Thank you

Re: 69 shortbed emergency brake cable routing
Thank you LockDoc,
You don't by chance have an actual photo of the way it rests under the hod, do you? Also, what do the clamps look like? I have a bag full of them and not sure what goes where at this point.

Re: 69 shortbed emergency brake cable routing
Here are pictures of my '69 long bed. I'd expect the cowl to frame portion would be the same as a short bed.

Re: 69 shortbed emergency brake cable routing
Thank you Jim!
Does the e-brake line go between the inner fender and the two brake lines going up to the master cylinder? Or around the brake lines?
