Can you still tow w/the 'Classic' insurance & registration? As far as I researched, you're not even supposed to have a hitch. They looked for one on my dually when I inquired. Luckily. mine is hidden but if you can't tow w/your dually, something isn't right.....

Anyhoo, I would have gutted the air-pump & put it back on if they were just failing it on a 'visual' inspection (as stupid as visual inspections are). Clean air is clean air. It shouldn't be "you must be within this range w/the original parts in place" etc. only.
